Focus on SiBorg application, the proof of concept of SiBorg Ads

SiBorg app is a decentralized mobile application focused on podcasts & Twitter Spaces

SiBorg Ads integration:

SiBorg App is the first client of our decentralized sponsoring protocol. For a consumer app, the solutions to monetize it are limited:

  • Premium subscription model, which requires a significant number of users to have an impact.

  • In-app transaction fees, which require volume and a lot of users to have a significant impact on revenue.

  • Advertising solutions; however, traditional advertising models require a minimum amount of users.

This is why SiBorg Ads is the perfect solution to monetize the app. As people can buy in-app parcels, it gives them potential upside in the secondary market since they are not just buying an ad but investing in the future visibility of the app.

Twitter Spaces integration

The first integration undertaken by the SiBorg team is the incorporation of Twitter Spaces. On Twitter, Spaces are not archived, meaning that the content is lost in the Twitter feed after the live session ends. SiBorg enables these content-rich Spaces to have a second life. It makes it easier to search for and find new Spaces and creators to listen to.

Lens protocol integration

This project is developed on Lens Protocol, it is a Social Graph meaning that every application created on Lens shares the same user base. Lens is developed by the industry-leading team Avara (previously Aave). Their integration is a crucial point for us as it enables our users to connect their SiBorg profiles and Lens profiles, unlocking Lens protocol functionnalities. This allows us to integrate this dynamic known as SocialFi, addressing a societal issue surrounding personal data.

Lens Protocol empower users to own their social identity and interactions. The protocol uses NFTs to create on-chain relationships between profiles, followers and posts as a back-end mechanism.

Why aren't we exclusive to Lens ?

Lens is an amazing protocol and we truely believe that It will be used in the next generation of social apps. However, Lens is still in private beta and many potential users do not have a wallet. Therefore, building an app exclusively on Lens is too restrictive in terms of user base for the moment.

In the future, SiBorg may integrate other Social Graphs.

More informations on Lens features

Core features that will be supported by SiBorg include :

Profiles :

Individual addresses can own profile NFTs. The profile includes metadata such as handle and profile picture.

Follows :

Follow someone granted you with a follow NFT. Each of these NFTs has a unique token ID that comes with innate rarity & utility. These unique traits can be used for token gated content.

During a second phase, SIBorg will include other features from Lens.

Wallet based recommendation

In today's world, individuals are inundated with content. With the advent of AI technologies such as Chat GPT and platforms like YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Twitter, there's no shortage of information available. What's truly scarce is time and the ability to curate this vast sea of content effectively.

At SiBorg, we believe that in today’s digital landscape, curation is the key to standing out. However, the challenge with curation lies in the fact that it requires a solid educational background, which not everyone has. This is why we are placing our trust in the power of community and collective intelligence.

The initial feature we're developing to align with this vision is the Proof of Support. Additionally, we are working on what we've termed "Wallet Based Recommendation." This feature has the potential to revolutionize content curation by leveraging what users hold in their wallets.

Concretely

The general idea of this feature is to save people time and help them find alpha in Twitter Spaces by recommending specific content based on what they hold in their wallets.

This feature is currently in the research and development phase, and we are exploring various speech-to-text AI models and additional protocols to enhance content curation. Our goal is to identify specific web3-related tags such as "Ethereum, Borg, Illuvium, Matic," etc., and associate them with precise timestamps indicating when these tags are mentioned. The concept extends beyond merely recommending content that aligns with the interests indicated by users' wallet holdings; it aims to suggest the optimal moment for listening as well.
