What is SiBorg Ads ?
SiBorg Ads is a decentralized sponsoring protocol that enables a new form of sponsoring by tokenizing advertising spaces. Our mission is to help media and apps remain independent and freely accessible to everyone while having a sustainable business model.
What is Tokenization ?
Tokenization is the process of converting an asset, in this case, advertising space, into a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) which is a digital token on the blockchain. This brings ownership of digital spaces. Each token is unique (non-fungible) and can be bought, sold, or exchanged. This implies that sponsors are now investors in the media, which means that their interests are aligned with a common goal: for the media to gain more visibility and traction, which requires quality content and advertising.
Media sponsoring issues:
Media & Apps face several issues when it comes to monetization. The question is how can they remain independent and freely accessible to everyone while having a sustainable revenue model.
Nowadays, media and apps have 3 tools for monetizing content:

Monetization for new media & apps
There is a clear problem when it comes to monetization, especially for new media and apps. In fact, it is extremely complicated for a media entity (such as a newsletter, podcast, mobile application, etc.) to get paid for advertising if it does not have any Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Misalignment of interests between the media and the sponsor
In traditional monetization, sponsors are not incentivized by a media's future reach. As a result, the interests of media and sponsors are not aligned, allowing sponsors to push ads that may not benefit the media and may degrade overall content quality.
Lack of automation tools to scale advertising publishing while avoiding scammy ads.
There is a clear lack of tools that enable good disintermediation and scaling processes for advertisers to propose ads and for publishers (media) to manage those ads, ensuring control over what is displayed to avoid scammy ads.
How does SiBorg Ads solve this ?
Funding: Through SiBorg Ads, media can secure funding before they have key KPI metrics, ensuring initial financial stability. In fact, investors invest in the future audience exposure of a media, meaning that these ad spaces are now considered a new asset class. In addition, Media receive upfront payments in the primary market and royalties in the secondary market.
Alignment of interests between media and sponsors: Sponsors are now investors, with a common interest in increasing reach. Investors aim to buy advertising space at a low price and sell it later at a higher price, which means that the media will have better visibility.
All in one Marketplace : SiBorg Ads includes a marketplace where advertisers can buy ad spaces and then publish ad proposals. The media will review the offers before displaying them on their platform, keeping control over what is displayed.
SiBorg Ads is the perfect solution to automate the monetization of media and apps, helping them to remain independent and freely accessible to everyone while introducing a new revenue model.
What is SiBorg App?
To launch SiBorg Ads, we decided to create a proof of concept with our own consumer app.
Introducing SIBorg App. The first Web3 Spotify application focused on Podcasts and Twitter Spaces. Integrating Lens Protocol It aims to empower content creators by giving them ownership of both their community and the platform. Allows fans to actively participate in the success of their favorite podcasters by contributing to their visibility.
Why podcasts?
In today's era, individuals are increasingly immersed in their phones, connected to social networks, and disconnected from face-to-face conversations. Podcasts stand out as the purest form of discussion between individuals. At SiBorg, we firmly believe that podcasts and Twitter Spaces are the most effective means of acquiring knowledge and information, a crucial asset for thriving in the Web3 landscape.
Podcasters pain points:
Podcasters face a myriad of challenges in today's competitive digital landscape. One of the biggest pain points is the constant struggle for visibility and engagement which is exacerbated on twitter as once a Spaces session ends, the content is then lost in the creator's feed, essentially rendering it invisible. With an ever-growing sea of podcasts available, it's becoming increasingly difficult for creators to stand out and attract a dedicated audience. In addition, monetization remains a significant hurdle. Many podcasters invest their time, effort, and resources into producing quality content, but struggle to find sustainable revenue streams. This financial burden can often hinder their ability to consistently deliver high-quality episodes.
Curation issue:
In today's world, individuals are inundated with content. With the advent of AI technologies like Chat GPT and platforms like YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Twitter, there's no shortage of information available. What's really in short supply is time and the ability to effectively curate this vast sea of content.
At SiBorg, we believe that in today's digital landscape, curation is the key to standing out. However, the challenge with curation is that it requires a solid educational background that not everyone has. That is why we believe in the power of community and collective intelligence.
